Our Story
Two neighbors, one small roaster, and a stubborn belief that coffee should taste like somewhere.
Ember & Oak Coffee started in 2019 as a weekend roasting habit that got comfortably out of hand. We opened the doors on Main Street with a single espresso machine, a handful of regulars, and a promise to never serve a shot we wouldn't drink ourselves.
We source seasonally and roast in small batches so the beans on our shelf are never more than a week or two off the drum. That means the menu shifts with what's good — a bright Ethiopian one month, a syrupy Colombian the next. Ask us what's in the hopper; we love talking about it.
What we care about
- Freshness over volume. We'd rather run out than serve stale.
- Fair prices, fair wages. Good coffee shouldn't cost you a shift's pay, and it shouldn't cost the people who make it either.
- A place to linger. Free refills on drip, real mugs, and no side-eye if you camp out with a laptop.
Whether you're grabbing a cortado on the way to work or settling in for the afternoon, thanks for letting us be part of your day.
